Leah created IDLE Studio with a simple intention, to offer a space where people can truly unwind. Somewhere you can step away from the rush, feel at ease, and be completely yourself. A space that feels like a warm hug, shaped by a team who value connection, creativity, and genuine care.
Rather than specialising in just one area, Leah embraces all aspects of hairdressing. From shags and natural curls to lived-in colour, rich coppers, soft - razored textured cuts, she’s passionate about creating hair that feels like you - effortless, personal, and designed to work with your lifestyle.
With nearly 20 years of experience hairdressing across Northern NSW, Leah is deeply connected to the place she calls home. Born and raised in the area, she draws constant inspiration from its people, culture, and relaxed coastal way of life. Outside the salon, you’ll find her chasing good food, slow travel, balmy beach days, and anything that sparks creativity.

ZOE - SENIOR STYLIST
Zoe specialises in soft, low-maintenance colour, with a love for lived-in blondes, seamless balayage and effortless hair that grows out beautifully. Kingscliff raised and Brisbane polished, she brings a refined yet relaxed approach to hair - creating natural tones, seamless blends and considered, wearable colour that feels elevated without ever trying too hard. Her signature finish? Glossy blowouts full of movement and shine.
She’s got that unmistakable girl next door vibe - easygoing, genuine and effortlessly approachable, instantly putting you at ease in her chair. With a calm, thoughtful approach, Zoe is all about making people feel comfortable, heard and relaxed while creating hair that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle, while still feeling fresh, polished and confidence-boosting.
Outside the salon, Zoe’s usually trying a new local restaurant, settling into a favourite wine bar, or spending time with friends and family. A true foodie at heart, she brings that same warm, easy energy into every appointment.
Mon is IDLE’s emerging stylist, Cabarita raised, creatively driven, and bringing a fresh perspective to the salon floor. Inspired by art, music, photography and travel, she’s drawn to hair that feels textured, effortless and full of personality, from soft lived-in colour to vibrant transformations, she loves it all.
Mon brings a grounded, easy energy to every appointment. With a natural warmth, an eye for detail and a love for connecting with people, she’s passionate about creating a space where clients feel comfortable, confident and completely themselves.
When she’s not in the salon, you’ll usually find her chasing beach days, camping with friends or simply cruising with her fam.
